Others :

  • Completed lesson 15/18 of the JavaScript course: I learned about external libraries.
  • Switched to Umami Analytics: I noticed something strange on my Google Analytics. One day, I had only 50 visitors on one of my websites, but Search Analytics reported 99 clicks for the same day. This made me question the accuracy of the data, so I decided to switch all my new blogs to Umami Analytics (plus, I no longer need to use a Cookie banner).
  • Decided to focus on only 2 projects at a time: Over the past few weeks, I’ve been trying to do everything at once. Starting my blogs, working as a freelance copywriter, learning to code, and writing on my blog. I quickly realized it was too much for me. So, from now on, I will focus on a maximum of 2 projects at a time. Currently, I think it’s best to build the blogs while learning to code, and once I’ve finished building the blogs, I will start freelance copywriting. As for this blog, I’ll only write on Sundays or in the evenings if I feel like it because, unfortunately, it’s not a priority right now.
  • Decided to try the timeboxing method: I’ve noticed that I’m the kind of person who likes to finish all the side quests of the day before tackling the main quest (ironically, this is exactly how I play video games too). However, that’s not really feasible in real life. I need to prioritize tasks based on my energy so I’ve decided to try the timeboxing method over the next few weeks and see how it goes.
