Log #8 - Heading in the right direction

What I did this week:

I launched a Meta Ads campaign for my funnel about Attachment Theory, targeting a French audience. I started cautiously with a budget of 5 euro per day to see how it performs.

Here's the graph so far:

It seems to be heading in the right direction. No sales yet, but that's normal (so far, I've collected 10 emails). I plan to try a Black Friday promotion as I have nothing to lose.

This morning, I read in the Indie Hackers newsletter about changes to Meta Ads in Europe. Essentially, the options will now be:

  1. Pay for an ad-free experience
  2. Stick with the free version that serves personalized ads
  3. Opt for a new version with less targeted ads based only on general details like age, location, gender, and app activity from the past two hours

At first, I was worried, but after some thought, my hypothesis is that the impact will be minimal, probably within the 20% range (following the Pareto principle). So, I’m continuing with this experiment.

Regarding the blogs, I have scheduled all the articles for Attached Academy through the end of December and have also published the first article on Copywriting Codex.

Now that I’ve completed the YouTube tutorial on JavaScript, I’ve started working through The Odin Project, focusing on the Foundations module. The YouTube tutorial alone wasn’t enough, I realized I still have a TON to learn.
